Blue Thunder is a 1983 American action thriller film directed by John Badham.
The Blue Thunder helicopter itself did exist as two copies of modified French Aérospatiale Gazelles.
A spin-off television series, also called Blue Thunder, ran for 11 episodes in 1984.[3]

THE WARRIORS
The Warriors is a 1979 American action thriller film directed by Walter Hill. Based on Sol Yurick‘s 1965 novel of the same name, the film centers on a fictitious New York City street gang who must travel 30 miles (48 km) from the north end of the Bronx to their home turf on Coney Island in southern Brooklyn after they are framed for the murder of a respected gang leader. The film was theatrically released in the United States on February 9, 1979, by Paramount Pictures.
After reports of vandalism and violence, Paramount Pictures temporarily halted their advertising campaign and released theater owners from their obligation to show the film. Despite its initially negative reception, The Warriors has since become a cult film and has been reappraised by film critics.[3] The film has spawned several spinoffs, including video games and a comic book series.
In his book about the film, author Sean Egan summarized its appeal: “Whereas the milieu of The Warriors was one normally only depicted in motion pictures as an examination of a social problem, this movie portrayed life from the street gang’s point of view. It was an obvious but revolutionary approach that struck a chord with the urban working class, especially its adolescent subset.”[4]

DIRTY HARRY
Dirty Harry is a 1971 American action-thriller film[2] produced and directed by Don Siegel, the first in the Dirty Harry series. Clint Eastwood plays the title role, in his first appearance as San Francisco Police Department (SFPD) Inspector “Dirty” Harry Callahan. The film drew upon the real-life case of the Zodiac Killer as the Callahan character seeks out a similar vicious psychopath.[3]
Dirty Harry was a critical and commercial success and set the style for a whole genre of police films. It was followed by four sequels: Magnum Force in 1973, The Enforcer in 1976, Sudden Impact in 1983, and The Dead Pool in 1988.
In 2012, the film was selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry by the Library of Congress as being “culturally, historically, and aesthetically significant”.[4][5][6]

MAGNUM FORCE
Magnum Force is a 1973 American action-thriller film and the second to feature Clint Eastwood as maverick cop Harry Callahan after the 1971 film Dirty Harry. Ted Post, who had previously worked with Eastwood on Rawhide and Hang ‘Em High, directed the film. The screenplay was written by John Milius and Michael Cimino (who later worked with Eastwood on Thunderbolt and Lightfoot). The film score was composed by Lalo Schifrin. This film features early appearances by David Soul, Tim Matheson, and Robert Urich. At 123 minutes, it is the longest of the five Dirty Harry films.

THE ENFORCER
The Enforcer is a 1976 American action-thriller film and the third in the Dirty Harry film series. Directed by James Fargo, it stars Clint Eastwood as Inspector “Dirty” Harry Callahan, Tyne Daly as Inspector Kate Moore, and DeVeren Bookwalter as criminal mastermind Bobby Maxwell. It was also the last film in the series to feature John Mitchum as Inspector Frank DiGiorgio.
The film is memorable for containing more comedic dialogue than any other entry in the Dirty Harry franchise, as well as offering a more fleshed-out partner for protagonist Callahan.[3]
